St. John’s is located 100 metres from Camberwell Junction, on the south side, approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Melbourne.

Camberwell Railway Station, on the Lilydale, Belgrave and Alamein lines, is located 10-minutes away by foot, or a brief ride on the 72 tram. Gardiner railway station, on the Glen Waverley line, is 8 minutes away by tram, on the 72 line. Two other trams, the 70 and 75, also access Camberwell Junction.
